There is an excellent screwball feel to Vellaiya Irukiravan Poi Solla Maatan (VIPSM), a dark crazy that is a good first appearance by Abanindran. The film director controls to keep factors relatable and even when factors get out of side for the new personality, they do not experience unlikely. It all starts going incorrect for Karthik (Praveen Kumar, who looks like Bollywood performing professional Rajkummar Rao in certain angles) when he gets money from a moneylender at a great attention. He has came back with his spouse a kid to Indian from the US, where he had only lately arrived a job, to look after his troubled dad (Jayaprakash), a widower. But when the physicians tell him that his dad needs surgery treatment, he chooses to lend money instead of promoting off their area as his dad wants to provide it with to his grandkid. He desires in order to the quantity in three several weeks but his dad’s situation gets worse and he usually spends the money to feet his healthcare costs.
But, when the moneylender starts to scare Karthik, he, with the help of his buddy Mani (a fantastic Balasaravanan), hatches an idea to anonymously blackmail his ex, Pooja (Shalini), who is the little girl of an excellent business owner. However, Pooja does not have any money with her, and so, she techniques Karthik (not understanding that he is the one blackmailing her) to blackmail her spouse Raghu (Karthik Kumar), an excellent physician. Raghu, in convert, blackmails a politician, who starts to blackmail a top cop, and soon, factors get out of side and this bet on blackmail gets to Periyavar (an ill-fitting Naren), a kingmaker in Delhi. Smell something rubbish, Periyavar goes after backlinks in the sequence one by one and eventually, which brings him to Karthik. Can their children preserve his epidermis and evade the anger of Periyavar?
The best expand in VIPSM is when Karthik’s blackmail strategy starts switching into something much larger. It is strange, it is crazy, and it is also very much credible. And we get to see some exciting figures — like Mani’s buddy Thiruvengadam, a mail guy and a cool small legal and the unusual Varma and Sharma (TM Karthik and Five Celebrity Krishna), two middle-men who earn an income out by performing as conduits for the dark money of the wealthy and robust. We are so involved with what’s occurring on-screen that we even don’t realize it when Karthik goes off display for most areas of this section.
The psychological surpasses also hit us difficult and they are gained and do not experience tricky. Karthik’s connection with his dad is refreshingly represented in a low-key way and we discover why he would go to such measures for his dad (“I panicked,” he describes to a personality and we completely believe that). And the film, like Paayum Puli a few several weeks ago, demonstrates even individuals whom we consider to be wealthy might be having economical issues. The romantic endeavors between Pooja and Karthik and their break-up is conveyed to us in brief but efficient flashbacks. The solutions are a bit easy but given how it was easy functions in the previously areas of the film that snowballed into a issue of huge ratios, they seem appropriate.
It is only in the ultimate few moments that the film derails as the film mutates into something directly out of a removed masala film program. Needlessly, it starts predicting Karthik as a idol, and when he difficulties Periyavar, it jewelry incorrect. Even the psychological surpasses get noisier, and the father-son feeling celebrities to experience like an over dose. These certainly carry the film down by a level or two but the assuredness of the film making until then (there are difficult sides considering that this is a first-time effort) allows us trend over these niggles.
